About LexDye Definition Tracker Pro

The LexDye Definition Tracker Pro automates the management and tracking of defined and undefined terms in a contract draft - regardless of length or complexity! The LexDye Definition Tracker Pro offers the following key features: - Find definitions in your document - Find uppercase terms that are undefined - Find duplicate definitions - Find unused definitions - Track uppercase and lowercase uses of defined terms Simply copy the text of your contract draft and paste it into the LexDye Definition Tracker. The LexDye Definition Tracker "dyes" the text of your contract draft to reveal potential drafting errors and to ensure that the draft reflects the contract as intended by the drafter. The LexDye Definition Tracker installs locally on the users computer behind any firewall or on a virtual desktop. It analyzes documents only locally and does not store any documents. Your drafts are kept safe and confidential on your systems. he software does not need any cloud access or Internet connection! We recognize that software cannot replace the drafter, especially when it comes to complex legal documents. The LexDye Definition Tracker aims to aid the drafting process by giving the drafter new insights not available with the word processing tools used in conventional contract drafting. The LexDye Definition Tracker has a Smart Filter mode, which automatically filters out terms that are likely not relevant. For example, in the Smart Filter mode, LexDye knows that the term "As Is" in a disclaimer is not intended as a defined term even if in uppercase and in quotation marks. The user can easily see the list of terms that were filtered out by the LexDye Smart Filter. The LexDye Definition Tracker also has a built-in database that allows LexDye to filter out terms that are commonly written in uppercase -- unless these terms are not written correctly. For example, if the contract contains the term Workers Adjustment and Retraining Act LexDye "knows" that this is the name of the law and not an undefined uppercase term. On the other hand, if the drafter used the term Workers Adjustment and Retaining Act, LexDye will flag the term as a potential undefined uppercase term (because the name of the law was not written correctly).
